A very good childhood friend of mine is having a baby and for her shower I got really motivated and decided I would crochet her little guy an afghan and edge some receiving blankets. It was a bit more work than I anticipated but Amber and baby River are worth it. If I do say so myself I think they turned out pretty good for my first time!
